Quality Policy




    The university's education-training, research and development, social contribution, management system, human resources and internationalization policies are determined as follows;

Education and Training Policy

  • To train preferred graduates who can adapt to global changes and have high professional and ethical knowledge, skills and competence.
  • To continuously improve the education and training processes with an approach based on the participation of stakeholders and student-centered learning-teaching, measurement and evaluation.
  • To ensure the adoption and sustainability of the practices related to the objectives and outcomes of education and training programs and their compliance with national and international standards.


    It is essential that these principles, which are adopted in education and training with the understanding of education anywhere, anytime and under any circumstances, are realized and sustained in formal / distance / blended education models.

Research and Development Policy

  • To continuously improve the quality and quantity of research and development outputs.
  • To support interdisciplinary, innovation and entrepreneurship-oriented research that strengthens university-industry-public cooperation.
  • To ensure the dissemination, use and commercialization of the results obtained from research and development activities.

Social Contribution Policy

  • To conduct research and produce projects that will contribute to the economic and social development of society and the region in cooperation with stakeholders.
  • To contribute to economic and social development by educating graduates with high professional and ethical knowledge, skills and competence with a practice-oriented education and training approach.
  •  To ensure the use of the knowledge produced for the benefit of society.

Management Policy

  • To be a higher education institution that focuses on continuous improvement and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • To make quality a corporate culture by developing a sense of belonging with a participatory management approach.
  • To adopt a fair, transparent and accountable management approach to create awareness of 'being a member of Kayseri University'.
  • To be a sustainable higher education institution sensitive to social, environmental and economic issues.

Human Resources Policy

  • Organizing activities to create corporate culture and a sense of belonging to the organization and to strengthen internal communication.
  • Creating a managerial environment for personnel employment based on medium and long-term human resources planning and “person-job fit”.
  • Taking measures to ensure the continuous development of personnel and developing appropriate training plans and models to support their career planning.
  • Creating promotion opportunities based on performance evaluation.
  • To create occupational health and safety and ergonomically appropriate working environments where staff can feel safe.

Internationalization Policy

  • To increase the recognition of the university on international platforms and to become a regional center of attraction, especially in vocational and technical higher education,
  • Increasing the number of bilateral agreements to promote international mobility,
  • To increase the number of international students and academic staff,
  • To increase the number of students and academic staff benefiting from international exchange programs,
  • To increase the number of international publications, citations and the number of projects carried out in international cooperation,
  • To increase the capacity of academic staff to teach in a foreign language with various supports,
  • To increase the number of foreign language programs and the proportion of foreign language courses in the curriculum,
  • To carry out studies to establish international joint education and training programs,
  • To work towards increasing the number of departments and programs with international memberships and accreditation,
  • To organize informative and promotional meetings to encourage mobility of students and academic and administrative staff abroad.

Information Security Policy

  • Compliance with ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System standard conditions and requirements will be ensured, and the confidentiality of corporate and personal information within the scope of our University's ISMS, or information produced and/or used, regardless of whether it belongs to third parties, will be ensured in any case,
  • The requirements determined by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, regulations, circulars and the legal legislation required by the work and the obligations arising from international agreements will be met, information security requirements arising from corporate responsibilities towards internal and external stakeholders will be met and activities will be carried out in compliance with them,
  • Unauthorized use, alteration, disclosure and damage of all information assets within the scope, knowingly or unknowingly, will be prevented,
  • It will provide staff, students, suppliers and citizens with secure access to information assets,
  • Risks on information assets will be assessed and the identified risks will be reduced to acceptable levels,
  • Trainings that will increase the information security awareness of the personnel and encourage them to contribute to the functioning of the system will be provided regularly to the employees of the organization and, when necessary, to the employees of suppliers,
  • All actual or suspected violations of information security incidents will be reported and measures will be taken to prevent recurrence,
  • By ensuring business continuity, continuous access to information will be ensured and information will be used effectively, accurately, quickly and securely by observing access authorizations,
  • Necessary resources will be provided for the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the Information Security Management System.
